We were tasked with finding the perfect European location and producing the best Employee of the Year event yet. Celebrating the highest-achieving employees across the region, we had to give them a once-in-a-lifetime experience. The aim was to motivate, boost morale and increase staff retention whilst also driving the desire for excellence amongst employees.
The aim was to step-change the branding of the client and deliver a brand that exuded luxury and would reflect the calibre of the event. This was rolled out across all guest communications, onsite branding, and personalised touchpoints.
Each guest received a personalised communication experience, featuring a dedicated hotline for inquiries and expert guidance through virtual registration. This level of service extended to an onsite guest service centre, ensuring continued support throughout the event, and even after the event was completed.
The event was hosted in Venice, a truly unique location, which we leveraged by giving guests access to exclusive venues, stunning palaces, private speed boats and private island hotels. The 3-day event included a big focus on CSR and dedicated a whole evening to celebrating DHL employees who had completed exceptional charitable work in their local communities. Everyone was made to feel like a VIP and walked away from the event having had a rare and unique experience.
